Sir I have big trouble with my windows 8 I have same system like above question. I am also Attached my system properties on the end of this post. I have installed latest driver of my video ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 Series Drivers version 8.593.100.0 . but some time show black screen for two or three seconds and that notification will be appeared your graphics driver stopped working and automatic recovered. please tell me some way to fix that problem otherwise I should leave windows 8 and installed old operating system like windows 7 or windows xp. :(.

it goes like this
1.download your latest graphics card
2. run the file and let it extract or you may even let it finish installing
3.check for your vga in your device manager
4. rightclick on update drive and manually browse for ati legacy folder its in ati folder then update
5. thats it you good to go after the blink you will become an happy man

there is a problem whit opengl install
I did once a clean install doing something like you told Abiola. that was half of year ago.
if someone find a way to install opengl, and it will work properly pleas notify.
there is no new catalyst or driver from amd/radeon, what is including this video card for windows 8.1.

Same here.
Will try some workarounds but not too much hope. Maybe will use separate graphic card and then will try too use windows 7 drivers.

I was a report on the web where someone ran the old Vista drivers in compatibility mode with Windows Vista on Windows 8.1. I'm going to try the same with Windows 10.
